Management Accountant
With extensive motor retail experience is required to produce month end accounts for a number of Dealerships in the area
• Reviewing management accounts, forecasts and budgets with operational managers
• Ensuring company policies and processes are adhered to, suggesting and implementing control improvements. Escalating any issues as appropriate.
• Audit of daily/weekly/monthly controls as recorded on sheets prepared by managers, ensuring appropriate explanations for discrepancies are received.
• Ensure month-end reporting deadlines are achieved.
• Perform and reconcile monthly vehicle stock check.
• Oversee quarterly parts stock check, ensure all housekeeping actions completed and perform test counts.
• Manage and motivate the accounting team and ensure they meet their responsibilities and deadlines
You will have very good Kerridge skills and excellent previous motor retail experience. You will also have good motivation and and leadership skills and comfortable working to strict deadlines.
