What do we need from our clients?

Information

We like to get as much information on the assignment as we can. The more open our clients are with us, the better able we are to identify the best applicants. However busy you are, it’s worth taking that time initially to be thorough. A job description is very helpful too, especially with senior appointments, where candidates usually prefer to have written details on a position before they will agree to be put forward.

Man with thumbs up

Feedback, feedback, feedback!

It makes an enormous difference when a client talks to us after reviewing CVs with some feedback on the quality of candidates

When you have as many registered candidates as we do, we behave selectively, and talk to candidates that we believe are appropriate from the client’s initial brief.

Our first selection is based on: Location, skills sets, background and salary requirements, using this criteria we select usually around 4 or 5 of the best. Working from feedback from our client, we then look at the next best and so on.

We never send everyone at once. We don’t “broker” names, we sift and select. Sometimes the first brief that a client gives us gets modified. Based on those changes we broaden the search.

Where confidentiality is paramount, we prefer not to send candidates’ personal details and information out into a void!

Clients who talk to us always get the best from us.
